What Santander offer in loans.
Santander do offer secured personal loans. However, you must become a banking customer of theirs to use their lendiing services. Thy have two styles of funding. Firstly you can borrow between £7500 and £20,000 at a advertised rate of 3.4% APR. However, in the small print, it does say, there can be a maximum APR of 24.9%, the short the loan repayment plan, th higher the Annual Payment Return. They don't call it a Santander bridging loan though, it is branded as the 'Santander short term additional loan', and unfortunately for those in need a real short term loan, for instance, over 3 months, it is locked into a full 12 month repayment plan. as we have said throughout, banks and building socieites no longer wat to offer short term options as they are highly risky due to the Governmental changes to banking laws through the credit crunch and recession.
