TSB bridging loans.
The Trustees Savings Banks has split from the Lloyd's name, TSB Lloyds, to revert back to just the TSB. at this point, before the parting of ways, they do not offer any form of short term secured finance. The high value lending they offer is limited to long term mortgages and remortgages, but no form of short term borrowing for amounts larger than 15 thousand pounds is available. TSB personal loans.
Term of a TSB personal loan is between three and five years. Interest rates are set between 6.9% ad 4.9% on loans between seven thousand five hundred and twenty thousand pounds. The higher loans up to twenty five thousands pounds are between 7.4% and 5.4%. Your actual, personal rate of interest will be based on many other factors like how much saving you have, how much other debt you have and other factors. The main form of high value lending from the TSB is a mortgage. They have many different mortgage available too, which can mae it complicated to know exactly what you are getting. They are also set over long periods oof time, up to tenty five years depending on your age. So, why don't the TSB do bridging finance anymore?
The fact not just the TSB, but all UK based banks do not offer any form of bridging loan anymore dates back to the credit crunch, the British recession from around 2007 and the bank bailout from the British Government.Up to that point, there was very little restriction on lending, not just in the UK but more of the World. Credit checks were laxidaisical to say he least and practically anyone and everyone was given some line of credit.
So when the property mrkets crashed, people where left with huge mortgage, remortgages and something call negative equity in their property. When jobs enmasse where lost, people couldn't afford their mortgages or other lines of credit and homes where repossessed in large numbers throughout the world. Unfortunately, due to the negative equity, the creditors like loans companies, mortgage providers and credit card issuers failed to get their investment back. British banks only chance of survival was a huge bailout from the Government.

The first bank to fall into trouble in the UK was the Northern Rock, formerly Newcastle Building Society. The simply collapsed under the weight of mortgage none payments. IVA or bankruptcy

County court judgements
Most banks, not just the Trustee Savings Bank will not lend to applicants with one or multiple CCJ's. The bank see your CCJ as high risk and prefer not to lend where there is a chance that they may not get their money back as it is quite possible you have other creditors in line to chase your debt up.
